A personal identification number (PIN) is used to log and track a transaction. This helps the office audit who is interacting with adding and using/removing inventory. Think of the PIN as a digital signature.ย

Another feature of the PIN is that a user who is logged in can hand the iPad to another user without logging out. The PIN of the other user can still be used to record the transaction.

Please note that the PIN is secure and should not be shared with any other users in the office. Maintaining integrity of the PIN code is paramount fo keeping the office inventory safe and accounted for.
